REGISTRATION

The Student Photo Contest is NOW available as part of the Registration (under Social Events). The Annual Conference student photo contest is run by the Student Activities Committee (SAC) in cooperation with the local conference Committee. All proceeds from entry fees go to the Student Affairs Committee.

Virtual Conference Registration is now Available!! registration can be found by clicking here or go to https://wda2023.exordo.com and progressing through Registration as above, and selecting the correct Virtual Conference designation when you get to adding Registration fees. The Virtual Conference Registration will allow attendees to livestream the scientific content of the conference, but will not allow you access to the WDA Business Meetings, the Workshops, Field trips, Social Events or Poster Sessions. The Virtual Conference will also allow attendees access to the content for 6 months after the conference concludes.

Full in-person conference registration includes attendance for all days of the scientific program (Monday, July 31st, 2023 through Friday, August 4, 2023) as well as lunch Monday-Thursday, all of the social events (Icebreaker on Sunday, Evening at the Botanical Gardens dinner on Monday, WDA Auction with heavy appetizers and drinks on Tuesday and the WDA Banquet dinner on Thursday night), and networking events. Single day registrations are available for those who cannot attend the entire event. For a full table of registration fees by categories, please scroll down.

There are a variety of housing options offered and we encourage you to make your lodging reservations early, as the conference period overlaps with the return of UGA students and their parents to Athens and housing can become difficult. If you are a student and cannot afford housing, please email shernz@uga.edu for alternative options.

Cancellation Policy

If you choose to cancel your registration on or before June 15th, you will be refunded all Conference Registration and Workshop charges less a USD $25.00 cancellation fee.

If you choose to cancel your registration after June15th and before or on July 16th, you will be refunded 20% of your conference registration and workshop charges.

Conference Registration and Workshop charges cannot be refunded after July 16th.

At any time, a registrant may choose to transfer their registration to another person for a USD $25 transfer fee.

If you live in a LLMIC country, you have an option to register for the Virtual Conference at no cost. You will need to certify that you live in an LLMIC country when registering. Click on then button below to see countries that are classified as  Low Income and Lower Middle-Income (LLMIC) in 2023 by the World Bank Atlas Method:
