If it is purchased, then it will be collected by the buyer after judging is complete. Those not sold at the silent auction will need to be collected by their owners.
PHOTO EVALUATION
The contest will be judged by an elite group of WDA members. There is also a “popular vote” by conference attendees. Judges will base their decisions on image clarity, color, lighting, contrast, composition, and “wow factor.”
This year we once again have a generous donation from Vortex Optics of a pair of their TRIUMPH® HD 10X42 binoculars for the 1st place winner in each category. The people’s Choice award winner will get additional prizes.
Winners will be announced during the Conference at the annual banquet on Thursday evening. If the winner is not present at the banquet, he/she/they will be contacted via email (or phone) after the conference.
